24 year old friends!

I don't mean friends that are 24 years old but friends I've known for nearly 24 years!! I had the privilege of getting to see 3 good college friends that I met nearly 24 years ago on my first day of IU. It is always so fun to see them and a good thing Michele visits from Washington annually so we all get together!

Kyle captured the night in photos. He really liked Rhoda the dog and Joenne's husband, Tony, is always his best friend for days after we see them. One of the only bigger dogs we've been around that left him alone and so he couldn't leave her alone. Allison would even walk on the ground without screaming when Rhoda would come by. Good doggie therapy for them last night.

New Cousin

Kyle and Allison had a new 2nd cousin born on 6/6/2008-- William "Will" Hunter. He was adorable and we did get to visit him in the hospital but I didnt' get around to posting it until now. His big sister, Sami, turns 9 in a couple days and was just beaming. He was a long time answer to prayer for her, I know.

Grace Kids Camp

The last post I had was June 1. I remember turning the calendar to June and having a little bit of a panic that GKCamp (VBS) would be in 2 weeks!! Needless to say, that was a busy time and no postings since. We had GREAT week. 800 kids and many first time decisions. It was such a fun time. We ended with an exhausted bunch in our house and took all weekend to recover. The house had become a pit and laundry piled to the rooftop (well, not quite that high)

See great pics and other things from my Admin leads blog. She was fabulous and even had the presence of mind to capture photos. I didn't remember my camera one day but did remember my computer and kids-- 2 out of 3 -- not bad. :)

Grandma Kerry found a 2 dollar big girl bike for Allison and she is SO excited. I can't believe how fast she can go. What a great garage sale find. I'd been looking but glad I was patient to wait for this deal!
