Time for the Dentist

Allison got her final tooth this past week. A full set of chompers. She always has had quite the pattern when she gets a tooth and I'm usually about 3 days behind in realizing what is happening. She wakes up in the middle of the night and either ends up in our bed or in the guest bed with one of us. She wakes up much earlier than the norm for her (530 one day!) and she is just overall very whiny.

I knew she had gotten her final top left molar earlier this month and was working on the right upper molar. BUT, I had totally been unaware or forgot that she'd already gotten her bottom molars. So, in the baby book there are big ? for those teeth. Hope she doesn't feel too neglected over that mishap.

SO, I am thankful that the guessing game of her shenanigans is over. Now, if she tries those nighttime tactics I don't have to wonder about teeth and can only wonder about her ears. She's only had a few ear infections in her whole life but same scenario plays out. Bottom line is that she has been a snuggler and wanting physical touch when she's not feeling up to par from day 1.

Anyway, better take a trip to the dentist!!

You might be OCD if....

... you bought a label maker after Christmas and feverishly labeled all the craft supplies, 101 cookie cutters you got for Christmas and the kids craft supplies.

Can I Paint?

I must admit, these are words that usually bring about a sigh and then the conversation inside my head (yes, I have many of these) goes something like this: It's good to get those creative juices flowing- he is a lefty and so his dominant side wants to create. It's good from a tactile standpoint too. I'm sure somewhere in my senory integration theory I remember that! OK, Kyle, yes you can paint!
