Imitation

I have been busy the last month helping plan Grace Kids Camp at church. In case I forget what is going on in our lives, I just have to see what Kyle is pretending. He will grab my bag, go to the living room, set up a "booth" and start registering kids. He will be very happy for next week to be here and SO WILL I!!!

Word Explosion

Someone asked me a few weeks ago when Allison started to talk and I had to answer that I really didn't know. I haven't done a very good job of tracking her "firsts". I thought maybe this blog would be a good way to help me remember. She is definitely having a word explosion now- string 2 and 3 words together daily. I heard some new ones this week. "more please", "me too" and "daddy home" The first and definitely most emphatic string of words was "no mine" She has that one down-- lots of opportunity to use it throughout her days. I haven't counted her words since she was about 18 months old but I imagine they are well over 100 at this point. I think it would actually be hard to count.
